Woohoo! Nippers season is starting on Saturday 27 October @ 2:45 for a 3pm start!
Registrations are now closed. We wish we could take everyone, but we had to cap numbers in certain Age Groups, as we are at capacity. We need to keep the Nippers safe both in and out of the water.
Swim Proficiencies!
Nippers in the U8 group and above need to complete a proficiency to participate at Long Reef Nippers (U8s through to U13s). Here are the proficiency requirements:
Age Group / Length of Swim / Survival Float:
Under 8 / 25metre swim (any stroke) / 1minute survival float
Under 9 / 25metre swim (any stroke) / 1minute survival float
Under 10 / 25metre swim (any stroke) / 1.5minute survival float
Under 11 / 50metre swim (any stroke) / 2minute survival float
Under 12 / 100metre swim (any stroke) / 2minute survival float
Under 13 / 150metre swim (any stroke) / 2.5 minutes survival float
Just show up at one of the below dates and make sure you get your name recorded by a Long Reef Age Manager. You can wear goggles and a wetsuit if you’d like – it’ll be fresh!
All swim proficiencies will be held at Collaroy ocean pool:
a. Saturday 13 October from 2pm until 3:30pm
b. Saturday 20 October from 10am until 11:30am
c. Sunday 21 October from 2pm until 3:30pm
