On Sunday the 17th December 2017 under very decent conditions we had a great turnout with 27
starters for Round 1 of the Long Reef Club Championships. Those who had not yet left for their
summer holidays were not disappointed with the warm and inviting 1-2 foot surf. Masters Men (40+)
had the most competitors with 13, but having 8 Longy gals show up made it the best turn-out ever.
The events held were Surf swim, Board Race, Beach Sprint, 1km run, beach flags, Ironman and Surf
Ski.
