Our Longy Vets did it again, winning the Gold medal at this year’s World Masters Championships in Adelaide!

Here’s the first hand report from Rob Pearson:

“Firstly the weather gods served up rain hail and pestilence down in Adelaide for the World Life Saving Championships … 11-13C plus 30-40 knot winds … just delightful!

Anyway, after the cancellation of all events on Thursday, rebooking travel arrangements etc. the Longy Vets eventually found themselves on the start line for the >260yrs World Masters Championship.

The sun was out, but it wasn’t exactly tropical … perfect for some magic Wilderness Wear coats!

6 boats … medals up for grabs!

GUN’S UP…
