A dozen or so Longy members are busy preparing for the biannual George Bass Marathon (GBM). This is a classic race down the beautiful South Coast over 7 consecutive days just after Christmas, rowing from beach to beach and swapping rowers in and out from an IRB. Our Club President and Treasurer competed in the first GBM over 40 years ago and they are still rowing, so the race must definitely be good for you!
