On Sunday 17 December the first round of the Longy club championships was held in perfect conditions.
Competition was fierce, spirits high and everybody, even the more ambitious, had lots of fun. All in all it was an epic first championship round.
The girls were particularly excited, because they are competing for a $400 GPS sports watch generously donated by Margaret Pearson.
The next two rounds will be held on 18 February and 4 March next year.
The events include swim, run, paddle board, surf ski and flags and will be run in different age and experience categories.
